Do you know how many books are in the Bible? That’s right there are sixty-six books in the Bible. Great job let’s try this one how many books are there in the Old Testament? That was close as you now know the Old Testament has thirty-nine books. Ok now an easy one as we know the total books and the Old Testament has Thirty-nine so what’s left is the number of books in the New Testament? There are twenty-seven books in the New Testament. We have used the word”Testament” What does it mean? Think hard……ok Testament means “covenant” or “contract.” Looking at the Old Testament who wrote most of it? Did you say Moses because He wrote the first five books of the Bible and you would be correct!
